I joined VHF with the purpose of losing weight and getting fit.   I signed up for PT sessions with Rob to get me started. The first night I was terrified but Rob made me feel comfortable and I began to look forward to each session and what ‘torture’ he had in store for me! I needed to be one on one with someone who was there to help me achieve my goals and to push me to a level I would never get on my own.

I’m not a sporty or athletic person and when I started I was quite unfit but I have done things that I never thought possible, with someone supporting you and pushing you can do it. Rob taught me the best workout for my body, he set me up with a program for me to continue on my own but he was always there to help.

 Pt sessions were definitely challenging but they were the best thing for me, I never would have succeeded without it and I would recommend it to anyone needing that extra push to get them going or to achieve the results they want.

Joining VHF is the best thing I have done for myself in a long time.

 

Every instructor and trainer has been very knowledgeable, professional, motivational and have all inspired me to change my life.

 

I now feel fantastic and love coming to the gym as I enjoy the atmosphere and companionship of the other members.

New Body Challenge

Personal training at VHF has been exciting, challenging and very rewarding. It was great to have someone to guide, encourage and push me to exercise at a level I would never get to by myself.

Personal training helped me to recapture a love of physical activity. It has taught me how to make the most of the limited time I have to exercise each week. Importantly my trainer has taught me how to best fuel my body in order to get the best results. I know it is not only about the exercise.

I would recommend PT, absolutely. Although I am often nervous about what it is I will have to endure during my session, the feeling I get when I achieve a goal or complete a task is awesome.
